 Now that we know how Gai's actor got his inspiration for his performance I can fully give him the credit he deserves because man oh man did he take this character and make a proper monster. Speaking of Actors send some match needed love to Jyuru's actor Rio Komiya who was discharged from the hospital and is in self quarantine after recovering from Covid-19. Nate however has attracted the eye of Evox which means he might be on track to meeting the fate of his Gobusters Counterpart Jin. Back in 1988 Kamurocho Kiryu gets his new look and settles into his new life as a Real Estate Agent. Aside from having proper health insurance it's not all that different from his life with the Tojo Clan.

 Once again April fools is upon us and now to avoid the usual fake posts by putting up this years crop of memes. Which you would have already seen if you're a regular viewer of Toku Riffs live with the RVT crew. In case you're not aware Toku riffs is Ez Rider, Shades, Spade Ace and Matty J and a whole group of fans getting together to riff MST3K style on the latest episodes of Kamen Rider, Super Sentai and Ultraman that we can get our hands on. We also riff on classic series as well. We also riff tokusatsu movies when they're available for fansubs so we have a lot of fun, laughs and just a general good time.

 During the intermissions we submit Tokusatsu memes to try to make the four headed jury laugh and show our creativity. So if you see this post follow the link to the RVT twitch page.  Zero One seems to be using what I call the Good Burger defense as to why Thouzer isn't in jail right now. Kirameiger has our new Red Atsuta and he isn't an over glorified idiot, though he still has an annoying catchphrase. Beast Morphers was off for the week but we still have Yakuza 0 to deal with. We get some backstory behind Majima and why he's so dead-set on getting back into the Tojo Clan even though he was tortured and had his eye stabbed out. After some shenanigans involving a chiropractor he's now conflicted as to whether to protect a blind woman or kill her to get back into the clan.

 Now that Ryusoulger is left to be adaptation fodder it's time to get acquainted with the new guys with Episode 0. Zero One moves on to a firefighting contest where a Rocket launching Panda Raider runs interference, god the things that come out of my mouth sometimes. Beast Morphers has Evox start to take advantage of his new body to further his schemes. Yakuza 0 has Kiryu start to ally with Tachibana real estate since Tachibana himself is apparently working with Kiryu's mentor, Kazuma. This then finally has us introduced to Goro Majima who is under the heel of a sleezeball until he can buy his way back into the Omi alliance.

 We've finally reached the end of Ryusoulger and quite frankly I hope Power Rangers can make something better out of this disjointed pile of meh. Zero One has Jin making his return with a new personality, form and driver. Beast Morphers finally states that Mayor Danials is possessed by Evox. Yakuza 0 has more side quest fun for us. From helping Michael Jackson and Stephen Spielberg to helping a cop get his confidence back to getting some shrooms.

 You know how I've been saying that Zero One is basically Mega Man X? Well, apparently Aruto took that to heart because now he has a sword with the Mother Elf inside of it! Helas has revealed her master plan and she's now an organic version of the Matrix. Sure Blaze and Roxy are human again but thanks to Scrozzle's intuitive thinking we have both the humans and the avatars. Yakuza 0 forced me to go back into bad habits, not just the content of the side quests but the length of them. But hey at least these side quests are 1000 times more interesting than Lost Paradise.

 Zero One takes a break from the competition to get into some marriage hijinks and Aruto can't use any form other than the dangerous berserker form. Ryusoulger is almost finished, until it gets adapted into Power Rangers. Speaking of Beast Morphers has finally ditched the "Super" subtitle, praise Zordon! Oh and we get into the Yakuza series with Yakuza 0. Lost Paradise was only the appetizer in terms of insanity and difficulty, this is the real deal!

 We've finally caught up on all of the topics for now. Zero One has the introduction of Metal Cluster Hopper and Gai apparently couldn't be happier since the guy is clearly a psychopath, but then again he's a CEO so it shouldn't be surprising. Ryusoulger is finally starting to wrap up and apparently Helas has had it with Pricious' crap. Speaking of family issues we wrap up Dad of Boy by finally killing Baldur and Freya is more than a tad annoyed by this. Oh and we get a final shot that hasn't given people blue balls like this since the end of God of War 2.

 Happy Singles Awareness Day ya'll! Zero One has a court case that seems like something out of Harvey Birdman since the defense attorney is a Humagear. Ryusoulger continues with its admittedly decent final arc with new Druidons and the Ryusoulgers actually being smart. We're almost done with Dad of Boy however as we explore Tyr's Temple and Atreus' new ego lands him and Kratos back in Hel after Baldur nearly kills the two. Thankfully Atreus pulls his head out of his ass after the whole experience and after I explore Musephelheim and Niflheim I'll finally get to restoring the tower to Jötunheim.

 Surprise, Gai is a narcissistic sociopath but than again he's a CEO that's not much of a shocker. Also Ryusoulger is almost done, joy! On to the main meat of Dad of BOY with the dynamic deity duo killing Magni and letting Modi run like a little bitch. Later on Kratos finally confesses to Atreus that he's a God after venturing though Hel with the recovered Blades of Chaos to save his life. Hopefully that revelation won't go to his head (spoilers it does big time!)

 So we're now fighting a gargantuan beast and killing it in an over the top gory fashion? For a second there I almost forgot this was a God of War game. Though to make up for the starvation of giant monster slaying we have Mimir to give me something to work off of instead of just Kratos' stoic stone facedness. But you just know Kratos wouldn't put up with Gai's crap for a second, take notes Aruto. Oh and Wiseru is dead, I think Ryusoulger wants me to feel something about that.

 What's this, a CEO that actually has a sense of ethics? Well at least he's smart enough to know that doing blatantly evil actions isn't exactly going to make your company look good, shame that this makes Gai look like a genius compared to actual CEOs. Speaking of bosses, Cereon is starting to notice that his aren't exactly giving him his due so he's planning on giving Precious his three weeks notice and taking his maybe actual buddy Wiseru with him. Speaking of crazy pairs Kratos and Atreus kill the Dark Elf King and hand Alfheim to the light Elves. They then figure that they've got some issues to work out, hopefully by not slaughtering an entire army.

 This one is going to be short and sweet, again. Not much has happened in Zero One but even less has happened in Ryusoulger as usual. Once again God of War is the more narratively interesting topic. Kratos and boy make their way though Alfheim yet never have to deal with the god modding nonsesne of Jesus-Kun himself Kirito. Oh and apparently Atreus can kill at least 20 Dark Elves on his own while Kratos was stuck in the Twilight zone, guess the apple doesn't fall that far if you shake the tree hard enough.

 Sorry for the audio issue in this week's God of War stream for some reason the audio wasn't recording even though I tested it before the stream.  Sorry for the lack of God of War this week, Christmas shenanigans and whatnot, but we still have the normal V-Logs. Zero One finally gets us the death of the Dodo Magear but thanks to Horobi his legacy lives on. Ryusoulger has gone back to dumb filler, joy. Last but certainly not least Beast Morphers is approaching the end of the first half of the show. Now the big question is, what happens next since we no longer have Roxy and thus can't fully use the Messiahroid arc since both Escape and the Karateroid were destroyed this episode?

 I'm slowly catching up with the Toku V-logs at long last. We're closing in on the ending of the 1st half of Beast Morphers so once that's done the schedule should be back to normal. Though speaking of Normal I will not be lowering the difficulty of Dad of BOY! Especially since I finally found Bork and F**king Gratitude which means I can get some upgrades and new Armor which undoubtedly gives me more of a leg to stand on. Though I did get some more goodies off-screen including knocking off some side quests just FYI.

 Christmas is almost here and that means it's time to take a wee bit of a break around here. Though I have my old buddy Kratos coming around and boy has he changed since I last saw him. Though one thing is still the same, his life is hard as hell!!! Let me tell ya, if your game is giving me Kingdom Hearts 3 Critical mode PTSD you know you're in for some actual frustration, entertainment and a decent into madness, almost like I was a real Video Game personality or something! Also the three toku show catch up, Zero one is still good, Ryusoulger is trying to make up for lost bullshit and Beast Morphers is warping up the first half of the show.

 I'm back from a forced hiatus with a hat to experiment with and some comments. Zero One has some movie schenanigans with a Humagear that can't do improv and Krombopulos Michael has his first fanboy moment. Ryusoulger officially jumps the shark when they kill of not only a potentially badass new General but also the saved extra Ranger in the same episode. Why? To just promote a new toy. Whereas Beast Morphers introduces Vargoyle and does the unthinkable and has a hero admit that he was wrong when he erased his friend's memory to keep his hobby secret, I know right?

Beast Morphers actually does something interesting with the Battleizer this time where the power it gives Devon is analogous with substance abuse. Fury Cells are a hell of a drug.

Speaking of Zero One reveals that the Ark is Sigma, the Ryusoulgers have saved Nada from the Gaizorg armor and we see that Nate and Zoe are starting to develop a relationship. Though we also see the Commander put her foot down on a downright despicable racketeer.
