One, more, day. Unlike the time where Spider-Man sold his marriage to the devil this is one of those times where One more Day is actually a good thing since we'll finally, after all these years, get to play Kingdom Hearts 3. Now I don't need to remind you all of how big a Kingdom Hearts fan I am. I've been playing the games for years, counting down the days since it was officially announced that I can actually play it and cursing Square-Enix for holding it hostage while desperately trying to shove Lightning down our throats and failing. But now the wait is over and we can finally play this game that has almost reached the same level of "joke about how this game will never be released" as Duke Nukem forever but hopefully won't fall to the levels development hell as that thing fell too.
I know Duke had the worst development cycle to date and at least Square was smart enough to wait until the time was right instead of pushing it out the door at the tail end of the PS3 when the PS4 was almost out or something stupid like that. No, no after Final Fantasy 15 was a done deal Square finally decided to strap Nomura to a chair and told him to wrap this series up (at least for now) because the fanboys, girls and that wondrous rainbow in between won't shut their cake holes about it. So now after some slight delays to make sure there was a slight simultaneous world wide release we finally have it (provided that you weren't spoiled before hand in which case sorry.) And I want to share my experience with the game, cold as ice with all of you. Starting tomorrow, during my free time I'll be streaming Kingdom Hearts 3 at any available opportunity.
Or at least till I need to seriously take a break like for life, work, food, sleep and all that pointless stuff we meat-bag humans need. I might be a good gamer but I still have my limits. But yeah, starting tomorrow I'l be streaming my live play though of Kingdom Hearts 3 from my twitch channel. Now don't worry I'll give at least a half an hour warning on my Twitter and Facebook accounts when I'll be streaming to give yourselves time to prepare. And even if you can't make it to the live stream I'll still be uploading the daily gameplay to my Youtube channel.
So if you could please swing on by and give a guy a hand that'd be lovely. Link to my Twitch channel is at the bottom and may your heart be your guiding key. (God even for this game series that line is so cheesy my cholesterol level went up by just typing it.)

I'm David, welcome to my brain. Here I write to not only show that I can but to share my opinions on various topics. Mostly Video Games, Anime, Movies and Tokusatsu. Though I am open to suggestions and never afraid to admit when I'm wrong. Have a good time in here and be sure not to mess with my memory, it's bad enough as it is.

I'm finally done with the Mega Man X Legacy Collection Volume 1. Now I can play these games on my own time without trophy worries and whatnot. Though I still have to deal with Zi-O and Lupinranger Vs Patranger. At least Lup Vs Pat is still good were as Zi-O is, well Zi-O. Now the reason why I'm still covering Zi-o is two fold, one I think this is good practice for my critiquing skills and two, now that I know what the worst of the series is like I will have what I've sorely lacked as a Toku fan, a frame of reference.

So after Aqua sent her friendship down the toilet she's now dead set on taking out Vanitas. Though we do make a pit stop at Disney Town to check out the dream festival and make our offerings to Fruit Jesus Kouta by playing fruit ball. Though interestingly we finally learn how Pete met up with Maleficent in the first place, just because he was being himself aka an ass. Then it's off to the coliseum for some uncomfortable flirting from Phil and Black haired Cloud. So to get that out of her system it's back to the Mirage Arena for some real combat action!

Movie Review: Dragon Ball Super Broly: Broly now...canon
When you're done read, comment, spread the links, re-tweet and follow me on Twitter @OnDavidsBrain!, support me on Patreon and watch my Twitch Channel Every Saturday at 12:00 ET
It's my first review of 2019 and I have a story to tell you. It's about a lone Saiyan who goes by the name of Broly.
Now that we have a basis time to see how Canon Broly is far better than Non-Canon Broly. Our story starts off with the discovery of Broly's power levels as an infant, but instead of killing him King Vegeta decided instead to send him off to a planet filed with savage beasts to hopefully die to the planet's inhabitants. However Broly's father Paragus ignores King Vegeta's concerns about how dangerous Broly could be if left unchecked and decided to fly to that planet that Broly landed on and raise him to take revenge on King Vegeta for his hasty exile. Though Paragus left just in time as this is when Freezer decided to carry out the job Beerus gave him and destroy Planet Vegeta, but not before a Low class Warrior named Bardock and his wife sent their infant son Kakarot to a small planet called Earth so that he might hopefully have a chance at a better life, rather then be labeled a Low-class Warrior from birth.
We then move on to the present day where after Goku and Vegeta helped save the 7th universe (though remember that Android 17 really saved the day) Goku still wants a fight since if those were the best fighters from the Universes that were up for erasure then there are far more powerful warriors in the Multiverse just waiting for him. One of which is Broly and when he and Paragus were rescued from the planet they were stuck on by two goons from the newly revived Freeza force they have their new assignments, go to Earth with Freeza and help him get the Dragonballs so he can get his wish. Of course Paragus is all too eager since he learned that while Planet and King Vegeta are dead Prince Vegeta is safe and sound with a loving family on Earth while he was stuck on a rock with rabid beasts nearly killing him if he ever slipped up, as well as the local wildlife. He doesn't even care that the Saiyans are all but extinct all he cares about is getting his Revengence on King Vegeta by proxy of killing his son. So with his inthralled and downright savage son Broly under his thumb with a shock collar he'll do just that.
I won't go into details about what happens but I will say that, yes, the fight between Goku, Vegeta and Broly is the highlight of the show. While at the same time we get some great character comedy that seems to be synonymous with Dragon Ball Super, mostly with Bulma, Freeza and of course Lord Beerus and Whis, I won't say how but let's just say it should seem familiar to anyone whose read or seen the original Dragonball. But I will say that in Toriyama's hands he managed to fix almost everything that was wrong with Broly. He gave him sympathetic, his motivations aren't contrived and dumb and best of all the Legendary Super Saiyan isn't a literal giant f***ing baby! Also the ending is a nice way to mess with expectations and is a nice way to set up the ongoing Dragonball story like how Battle of Gods did.
I honestly wish I could keep gushing about this movie but sadly most of it is either comedy or the Fight that takes up the second half of the movie. Like I said it's a really damn good fight scene and we all know the number one rule about revising stuff with comedy, never explain the joke.
Like I said the comedy, fight and revised events surrounding Broly, the destruction of Planet Vegeta is all good stuff, though with the previously mentioned revised scene of Bardock sending Kakarot to earth it seems that Toriyama decided to go along with what the west did and just flat out turn Goku into Superman. Kind of annoying but hey it's presented well enough that I sips under my radar. So what else is there to say, other then go see Broly, especially while it's in theaters, this was my first time seeing Dragonball on the big screen and it really gives everything much more gravitas and with a guy as big as Broly it takes a really big thing and makes it gargantuan.

How is it that Zi-o keeps introducing more things that get under my skin? Oh yeah, because this show is helmed by complete morons. Though I feel that the Toku V-logs may just keep getting shorter and shorter as I keep running into the same problems over and over again every week. But you know what makes my week a little bit better? Playing Megaman X4 without the memeable slapdash English Voice acting and a somewhat decent fan translated script next to me that's what!
Now before you say anything, we all know that X4's English dub was on par with how bad a Central Park Media dub can get, it was just how it was back then sadly. But, come on we have to have some standards here. Also thankfully there was someone out there who translated the original Japanese script for us. Otherwise we would have had to hear "what am I fighting fooooooorrrr!?" for the 100th time. But yeah to keep things fair I not only beat Zero's campaign on Japanese but I wrapped up X's English Playthough with his ill fitting English voice intact. But yeah X4 is still awesome no matter how you play it.
Special thanks to Hondoori.wordpress.com for the translated script.

Oh dear now we're really riding the Drama Llama today. First Aqua hears how Terra helped Maleficent steal Aurora's heart (though not the part on how he was brainwashed into doing it though still). This doesn't help when she points this out when the trio meet up at Radiant Garden and she wound up splitting the group apart. So after she fought Vanitas she decides that she needs to make taking him out her top priority. So to get stronger she heads to the Mirage Arena to train.

So we've seen Terra and Ventus and how their live were destroyed by Xehanort. Now it's time for Aqua to begin the slow march towards her cruel fate. Our first stop has us going through No Man's Land from Wonder Woman AKA the Castle of Dreams where the Unversed kick our teeth in like she owed them money! This seriously took so much time that I had to dedicate an entire episode to dealing with the boss of that stage it seriously took that long! At least the Dwarf Woodlands were better in that I had a slightly better Keyblade with me, but not that much better.

Starting off with the V-log for the week, it might just be my shortest one so far. But then again when the show gives me nothing much to talk about I'm kind of stuck at an impasse. However Megaman X3 gives me more than enough to talk about. But nothing all that good, I gave up, threw in the white flag, admitted defeat. I mean I know I already beat the game and got the Medal and Trophy but for some inexplicable reason I couldn't beat it this time.
Even though I beat Kaiser Sigma at least 7 times I couldn't get past that horrible fire wall chase sequence. I mean why would I possibly expect to have beaten the game when I beat the last boss? How stupid and entitiled of me to assume that the game is done when the game is beat, no no no, better to jump through one last series of hoops and if you're slightly off then it's back to beating the last boss all over again with waiting for your health to refill wasting yours and everyone else's time! I already beat the game and got the trophy so as far as I'm concerned I beat X3 and now I never have to deal with it and it's incredibly flawed design again. Though there's still X6 to deal with, which is still worse than X3.

Now that both the Maidens Manual and Mechanic's Manual are unlocked and everyone has their skills it's time to conquer the Labyrinth and save Evermore, again. Though I try an experiment to see if completing the first 1-20th floors actually unlocks more Manuals, sadly this looks like a big NO. But we finally reach the bottom and defeat the Prince of Wraiths, and all we got was an Orb and a pair of boots, yay. Though we at least have some new techniques for when the next batch of DLC comes out, if and when. So thanks for checking this out, and now we'll finally get back to finishing uploading the Birth By Sleep videos on this blog.

Here we start to actually step our toes into the Labyrinth. The first 20-30 floors are relatively easy, nothing we've seen before. Then at Floor 40 we actually see the Prince of Wraiths and at this point the guy is a complete pushover. But before we can track him down there's a Crisis in Broadleaf. Apparently the robots there have been infected with the Sigma Virus and we have to find the Maverick that's been spreading it, who apparently has some history with Bracken.

Like I said last time there's no Toku V-log this week since they took a New Years Break. So instead you get to see me flail about Mega Man X2, now usually I'd stick to the Maverick boss order at first and then go after the X-hunters after I beat Wheel Gator. But I'm an idiot and chose to get the X-hunter's weaknesses and the Legacy Collection Trophies on top of that! Free tip, don't, just stick to the script. In other news I finally got that Covert Ops trophy afterword, even though I know I would have had it had I not lost to the Mini-boss. But aside from that that's another Mega Man X game under my belt, also I'm trying out a new setting on my stream basically getting rid of the comments that I know I don't have and I think this is the way I'll stream until I actually get some viewers.

Well well well, it's back to Evermore for us for the time being. The first paid DLC is out and we get new side quests that give some much needed character moments for Batu, Tani and Bracken, some new weapons, two brand new fighting styles, the level cap increased to 120 and we have a brand new threat to deal with. Apparently the Heartlands was a tomb world or something because the Prince of Wraiths is awake thanks to the revival of the Horned one and plans to completely level our kingdom with his army of super monsters. So after Evan tracks down all of Roland's journal entries, helps Batu deal with some old business concerning Tani and fight The revived Black Knight from the tutorial of the game he'll venture into the Labyrinth and save his kingdom, again. Also the first video of this post is going like crazy since it almost completely covers a very long new side quest.
